LUGARNO and OKAMI STAR are likely leaders. SHANONI had no luck whatsoever when she was produced here fourth up. Stepping up from 1550m makes her suitably placed tonight. TASSRON can be expected to gain a dream run from an inside gate and he is another who can be expected to appreciate the distance rise that now awaits him with a gear change made (blinkers on). LUGARNO can be forgiven for an unplaced latest effort when there was an excuse at Gosford. PROCEAN can cope with a significant switch back from 2400m at Kembla Grange last start. He's been kept fresh since. OKAMI STAR doesn't have an overall strike rate to boast about but even so, he shouldn't be underestimated against the awaiting opposition tonight.
