On pace runners 1,8,9 and 10. MODERNIST was well fancied but disappointed on debut in a very strong race on the Gold Coast. She has trialled well for her debut so expect an improvement today. XTRASCENT also resumes after a good debut. He has plenty of pace but the outside barrier no help. STO PATOMA is another one resuming after just a fair debut at Gosford. She has trialled just fairly so watch the betting. BEDDA MIA the 17 start maiden has the fitness edge on these and she can give a sight from barrier 2.
