QUEEN OF CORDOBA comes back to the scene of her good 1st up win. That was the only time she has raced on good ground. She had her chance but she ran well in a better than average mares' BM56 last time on testing ground. On that run 1600m should suit. With a significant weight drop and good draw, she should be hard to beat. BAYWATCH looks a good light weight chance. The last time she raced on a track firmer than a 7 over 1600m, she wasn't beaten far in a strong mares race. BALTIC BLIZZARD is likely to get back on to some dry turf. That hasn't happened since an impressive return win. She was luckless on the synthetic last time. From a good draw she should get her chance to run a strong 1600m. She certainly has the miles in her legs to help. DEADLY PRESS continues to race well around this level and from the draw he'll get his chance again. BOTH SIDES NOW won in this grade off a 9 week break back in March on good ground. CANNY DEFENSE brings some consistent Sth Australian form. If drawing 1 is no disadvantage, he's got to be in the mix.
