LIKE CLOCKWORK is on the seven-day back-up after a luckless run here last Saturday. Pike goes back on for an apprentice and I expect her to take plenty of beating. MR KARADEC showed ability in his first preparation and attacks this off a very impressive trial win. From his inside draw he can lead or box-seat and run well. WESTERN ACE is a talented type who won two of three in his initial campaign. He was asked for little in a recent trial. The talented VATICAN STORM resumes off a nice trial win.
