At the time of writing (Monday) the track is rated a soft 5 but with fine weather forecast an upgrade is expected. HE'S GOT GRUNT may've choked down when dropping out at the Sunshine Coast. He's since placed in a Deagon trial and has a tongue tie added for this. Give him another try. DIVIL A BIT put in a career-best showing at the Gold Coast and should be given every chance from the kind draw. ESCAPE BEACH was much improved when out to 1526m at her second attempt and the further rise in trip looks a positive. STILL UNWANTED looks close to a win having placed at two of his past three attempts.
