NIGHTOWL's Australian debut was sound. He settled well back in a slowly run race. Would expect from a better draw he'll be much closer in the run. He finished alongside KIRKHOEPASSE in that race so logically she's a strong danger. Expected a little more from that filly last time after a very good debut. Her stablemate KILLENAULE showed just enough on debut at 1300m. 1600m will suit. Thought SOUL GLOW jumped out well enough to respect. ABBY'S CROSSWORD makes it to start 18 without a win but she is going well and she does look set for a good run on speed. EPOCH and SHARE THE PENNIES have chances.
