BEATTY was terrific in defeat in the Karrakatta Plate. He was slow away, settled further back then expected and finished off strongly. If he can begin cleanly and settle handier to the speed he will take plenty of beating. JEDI DREAM found the line strongly in the Karrakatta giving every indication she will relish the rise to 1400m. AFIREOFGIDGEECOALS took out the Karrakatta at big odds. He can definitely win again. VINNY NAY ran well on debut and should be finishing off strongly.
