GENOVA FLAVOR (5) turned in a fine effort to score by 2.5 lengths at this course and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up result. Must raise the bar but another win beckons. YES YUI CAN (2) finished second at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 1000m at Funabashi, finishing 6 lengths back in sixth after being in contention on the corner. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. A I KIRISHIMA (1) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a spell last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 2.25 lengths over 1500m at this track. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. KOJIN KINKI (8) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1800m at Funabashi, beaten 4.5 lengths. Nicely placed to maintain the form.
