BONNE SOIREE (3) was prominent from the outset when fifth over 1400m at Chukyo last time out. Has never been out of the money in five starts here over this journey, including a win. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the lead. Will give a great sight. LAKE CRESCENT (2) did little and finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in 13th over 1200m at Nakayama last start, a less impressive effort than her first-up fifth at this track the run before. Nicely placed to get the prize. SUCCESS CALLA (10) comes here off a break of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1400m at Niigata. Comes here with definite top-three claims. CASTLE LAKE (1) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found a couple better over 1400m at Chukyo, beaten only a neck. Likely improver so plenty to like about her chances.
