MATENRONO KAZE (11) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.6 lengths from the winner in third over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. Overdue for a win. With a little improvement can take this out. SCRAPING (7) resumes in a similar race to his only run last prep back on February 21 when fifth, beaten 2.25 lengths. Course and distance winner who looks well placed here. One of the genuine hopes in the race. KOSHU PANJA (9) returns after a spell of ten weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1600m at Kasamatsu. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. B B BERZERK (14) has not appeared since he finished eighth over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt on February 22. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with three minor placings. One to consider.
