Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Has the talent to take care of this field. D'S GOLD (3) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, last start over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Will be handy in the run again and should prove hard to run down. KYOEI FREUDE (4) resumes in a similar race to her last run ten weeks ago when second, beaten just 0.8 lengths. Among the better hopes. HOKIBOSHI (2) is having his first run since January 25 2025. Goes well when fresh with a win and two placings from four starts. Worth plenty of thought despite the long lay-off.
