GROSBEAK (1) scored a commanding win at Nakayama Dirt over 1800m at his latest appearance on February 28, the only time he faced the starter in that campaign. Christophe Lemaire who has two wins when partnering stays on. Sure to play a big role. KEIAI ALTAIR (14) was thereabouts last time out when second at Nakayama Dirt over 1800m, beaten a neck. Cherry-ripe now. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and a placing from three starts. Expected to be in the finish. GRACE THE CROWN (11) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1600m at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but with added fitness he is one of the chief contenders. TRUCHOT (7) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at Fukushima Dirt over 1700m. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot return to winning ways.
