ROAD OF KING (2) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing eighth and beaten 10 lengths starting at $7.90. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. IRON BIBLE (7) did a great job to score by 2 lengths over today's course and distance when first-up from a layoff last time out. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to figure in the finish. MEISHO TOKIIRO (4) ran a better race last start, finishing 4 lengths away in fourth over 1400m at this track. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
