PHILIPPINE (9) booted up from the inside draw to lead last start and was there on straightening before being claimed and finishing 1.0 lengths away in third over 1600m at this track. Well-placed and is going to prove tough to run down. MEISHO TOKIIRO (11) was well fancied last start over 1400m at this track when fifth. Will appreciate the longer journey and can play a major role. IKENO GAL CHAN (10) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1600m at this track, finishing fourth and beaten 1.5 lengths. Nicely placed to find winning ways. MELO PEARL (6) could only manage seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to maintain the form.
