NEO TOKIO (10) raced close to the lead before clearing out to score an effortless 3.5 lengths win over 1200m at this track last time. Goes very well at this journey, boasting seven wins from 13 starts and should be hard to stop. OTOMENA SHACHO (11) resumes. Didn't make an impact at her only run last prep on March 1, finishing 15th and beaten 11 lengths over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Will give a great sight. PEREGRINE (13) returns from a spell of ten weeks and did win first-up last time in work over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt. Makes plenty of appeal. RANA ROSA (4) finished tenth over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt at her most recent appearance on February 15. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
