GIVRE (8) turned in a fine effort to win by 3 lengths at this course and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up result. Likely to be there at the finish again. FLY BY VENUS (1) resumes from a spell of four-and-a-half months and is having her first outing under new trainer Satoshi Matsuura. Finished 14th at Chukyo over 1400m at the opening run last time in work. A solid return is anticipated. METEO RENA (2) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 1700m. Nice alley so must be a leading chance again. AURORA LUMIERE (5) lines up on the back of a fourth over 1400m at this track. Deserves serious consideration.
