Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. DANON GRAY (4) opened this prep with a win two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when ninth over 1400m at this track. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. MEISHO KOTODAMA (10) showed good pace over 1400m at this track last time and dug deep to score by 4 lengths. Likely to press forward from wide out. Going up a level this time but he deserves plenty of thought. KAZUTOSHIKUN (2) proved too strong two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when seventh over 1230m at this track. Nicely placed to play a leading role.
