A SHIN LEO (1) is a talented galloper with a very good strike rate who finished off last campaign with a win over 2000m at Himeji on February 10. Goes very well when fresh from a spell with five wins from six starts so he looks the one to beat. SUNRISE WAVE (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing fourth over 1870m. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to mix it with them. ZIGGURAT (8) is a distance specialist who missed the placings last start when tenth over 2100m at Nagoya. Won't find this as tough so he can feature. WALRUS (5) settled well back last time out then found the line strongly to finish fifth over 1230m at this track. Will be putting in the big strides late.
