JOYFUL JOY (1) won impreessively at a big price on debut before a 1.5L defeat before the break. He had a very quiet trial coming into this with Bowman on board and he sticks for the fresh effort. Looks set to raise the bar. SOLID CAR (8) is likely to get back from the wide draw, but he flew home to just miss as favourite before the break. He's had a quiet trial coming in and if he gets some luck in running, watch for him late in the race. MASTER LUCKY (2) ticks a few boxes after winning at the end of last season and won't be far away.
