SUNNY Q (7) was knocking on the door earlier this campaign before stepping out to 1400m last start and failing to finish off as he had done in his prior efforts. Back to 1200m now and J-Mac hops on board. May be able to sit a touch closer in the run today and a return to his best form would see him hard to hold out. KA YING WARRIOR (9) was no match for the winner last start despite challenging with around 300m to run, beaten 5L in the end. Out to 1200m now looks a good move however and the booking of Purton is a good push for his chances. Shapes as a winning chance. MEGA MASTERMIND (4) was given an easy trial most recently, but his trials prior were very impressive. Avdulla has been on board for all of his trials on the way through and has options from the draw. Can make a statement. AMAZING PARTNERS (2) is another debutant, this time for Vincent Ho and Francis Lui. Has shown some ability and is not to be discounted.
