TURIN CHAMPIONS (14) steps up in grade today despite a 3.5L defeat on a deteriorating surface last time out. His form prior was solid and he drops 9kg for the rise in grade today. Can settle in a handy position and land the knockout blow this time getting back on top of the ground. AMAZING PARTNERS (5) is hard to knock, finishing in the money in all 7 starts, winning two back before a narrow defeat here last time out. The wide draw is a niggle, but he continues to work his way through the grades impressively and with his upside, he makes plenty of appeal. GOLDFIELD (10) makes his way to HK from Brazil and while his trial results haven't been impressive, he's only been warming up late in those efforts. The mile first-up is fantastic and Hewitson has been on board at the trials. Can make an impression in his HK debut. ENDUED (3) has been flying home his past couple and can't be discounted as he looks to have his hoof on the till.
