ALMIGHTY LIGHTNING (13) got back and never got into the race last start as the race favourite. Happy to overlook that effort as that was on a Soft track, and he gets back on top of the ground now. He remains down in the weights, the 1200m doesn't look an issue and he can return to winning ways. MY MARS (5) won narrowly fresh before a 0.3L defeat most recently on the soft deck. He's building nicely through his career and he maps to get every chance in the run. Expecting him to play a major role. ELITE GOLF (9) held on to win here 42 days ago and drops in weight as he rises in grade today. He's an exciting gelding on the rise and his recent trial was very good. Wouldn't surprise to see him raise the bar again. COOL BOY (4) can make his presence felt after missing as the race favourite last time out.
