BLITZ CARA (3) has the strongest overall form reference, having placed twice from five starts at this track and finished second to Eco Bolt last time when sent out favourite. The margin was still plain enough, but his earlier fourth in a Listed race behind Major Fury gives him a stronger profile than most of these maidens. BLUE HORIZON (8) is the immediate danger after going within a length of Dareuri Yeowang over this distance three weeks ago, a sharp lift on her previous 1200m run when she was big odds and never a winning hope. CHEONMAUI HANSEONG (2) has placed twice from four starts and worked home evenly for third behind Gold X last start, though the beaten margin says he still has ground to make up. RISING WIND (6) comes through a fair 1700m fourth behind Katarinara and has enough recent substance to be a minor winning hope if she produces the same level back at 1400m.
