MIDORI SUNRISE (3) has been in great form recently, the latest effort a dominant win by 4 lengths over 1400m at this track. Steps up a level but he is good enough to figure in the finish. GALAXY GREY (10) was prominent on straightening and stuck on well to finish second last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. MEROVINGIAN (11) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1200m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Looks well placed so expect another big run. HYPERCHARGE (1) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Richard Lines stable. Finished off last campaign with a 11th at Caulfield Heath five months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks well placed. Shapes as a top-three chance.
