Manato Hida scored on her last time and retains the ride. Draws lower and looks hard to stop. G T SPICA (5) is a model of consistency, placing in her last three starts to follow back-to-back wins at this track and trip. Leading contender. IVY IDATEN (8) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.5 lengths from the winner in second at this course and distance after being prominent on the turn. Chance to go one better. PONTE BIANCA (7) ran a better race last start, finishing 3.5 lengths away in fourth. Top-four prospect again.
