KAZU TANJA (6) resumed over 2000m at Nagoya last time out and finished second, only beaten half a length. Has a solid second-up record and has plenty of upside with the run under his belt. Can feature with the right run. KAZENO RUNNER (11) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by one length over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Will be better for that latest run and this looks well within his grasp. OKEMARU (12) is having his first run since November 27. Has a strong record when fresh with five wins from five runs, the most recent over 1700m at Sonoda at the start of last prep. Worth plenty of thought.
