CHANSON D'OR (14) is a progressive four-year-old filly who hasn't raced since finishing second over 1800m at Tokyo on May 16 which was the only run of that prep. Has never been out of the placings first up from six tries. Should park just off the speed despite the draw. Sure to be in the finish. CORDON BLEU (15) resumes from a break of ten weeks, her last appearance being a win over 1600m at Kyoto. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a spell in two starts. Gets back but will wind up late. Leading contender. GENE KING (9) finds it hard to win with just one success from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 1800m at Fukushima, beaten 3.5 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. SONIC LINE (11) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at Tokyo two starts back then got the job done by a neck last time out over 1600m at the same track. Has to be considered.
