KOIOS TESORO (6) is a three-start maiden who was close to a win before a three-and-a-half months break, finishing off with a minor placing at Nakayama Dirt. Expect he has come on over the break. Looks the one to beat. SALSA BRAVA (12) followed an unplaced effort first-up two runs back with a second last start over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt after being in the firing line on the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. TARO (3) made progress last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1800m at Nakayama Dirt after being in contention on the turn. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. LEGERETE (2) was beaten 4.5 lengths into third at Chukyo Dirt two starts ago then finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in fifth last time at Fukushima Dirt. Backmarker who keeps coming. Suited here and can sneak into the finish.
