TASSEL KNOT (10) is a promising type who finished in the placings over 1800m at Tokyo at her last appearance on June 20 which was the only run of that campaign. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a spell in four starts. Goes well over this trip, filling a placing at all four starts, including a win and shapes as a key contender. DARLINGHURST (8) is a handy type who resumes after a break of ten weeks. Only appeared once last prep when she finished seventh over 1800m at Tokyo, beaten 4 lengths. Has a strong fresh record including a win and one minor placings. Should camp just off the leaders. Best form puts her right in this. SCHON STIER (11) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Tokyo three months ago. Goes well at this trip, recording three minor placings and should be involved in the finish. CANTINA (5) resumes from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Has filled a minor placing at both first-up runs. Opened last prep with a third over 1800m at Tokyo. Definite top-three chance.
