PURE TIARA (8) is the top pick after doing enough on debut at Tokyo Dirt, where she was fifth to Vento Serale in a 1600m NEWCOMER and was sent out at long odds. She has the benefit of that run, drops into a Mdn, and the rise to 1800m is the only real qualification rather than a reason to get off her. BLUE GRAVITY (6) resumes after two runs that read solidly for this, including a fourth to Chant Des Vagues on debut and a fifth to Cosmo Jager at Niigata. PURE NOBLE (2) has had two months since failing to run on over 2000m at Chukyo, but her debut fifth to Les Nuages gives her a competitive platform if she sharpens third-up. AGLIANICO (4) was well found in an open market on debut before finishing last at Hanshin, so the market respect and class drop keep her in the mix despite having plenty to prove.
