FILIUS (12) finished second when resuming from a spell last start over 2500m at this track. Sure to prove tough to stop again. COACHELLA VALLEY (6) is having his first run since finishing seventh in the Grade 1 St Leger. This much easier and has a very good fresh record, scoring two times including one over 2400m at Hanshin at the start of last prep. Likely to take beating. OSTRAVA (9) is a promising galloper who saluted at his last run before a break six months ago over 2600m at Fukushima. Has never been out of the placings first up from three tries. Akihide Tsumura who has two wins when partnering stays on. Can play a role in the finish.
