BEST SCENE (6) should be at his peak after three runs this prep, the latest a third over 1600m at Tokyo three weeks ago. Well placed and sure to go well again. SWALLOW CITY (8) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 2000m at Fukushima, finishing third and beaten 1.75 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. CHIARAMENTE (5) is a promising type who scored at her last run before a break three-and-a-half months ago over 1600m at this track. Has never missed the frame when fresh in four starts. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. Sure to be competitive. MEINER ZEUS (11) finished third last time over 1800m at Fukushima when resuming from a spell, beaten 3 lengths. Faces an easier assignment so he is a key runner.
