Finds a suitable race and can go on to make it two in a row. Z THUNDER (4) was a gutsy winner last time over 1500m at this track, scoring by one length to make it two wins in a row. No reason he cannot add to the picket fence. UP SHOGUN (3) registered a strong win at this track two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when prominent at the turn before finishing second over 1700m at this track, beaten a head. Nicely placed to take this out. MERITORIOUS (1) has been safely held at his last couple of starts, the latest when always well back in 15th over 1900m at Chukyo Dirt. Better placed this time and worth following up.
