OUTRANGE (12) pushed forward from a wide draw when resuming last start and found a position close to the lead before sticking on well to finish third over this journey at Kawasaki. Worth noting Kohei Matsuyama goes aboard. Fitter and he is perfectly placed to score. KAZU TANJA (1) is yet to find the winners' list this time in work but has two placings from three starts this preparation, finishing 1.5 lengths away in third most recently over 2400m at Funabashi. Chance to take this out. YUMENO HONOO (6) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 1900m at Kochi. On his best form he is good enough to take this out. ERNANI (5) scored last start at this track to make it three wins and three placings from six starts this campaign. Has an impressive strike rate at this distance and is not to be discounted.
