MISTY LILAC (11) was an impressive winner last time over 1400m at this track, scoring by 2.5 lengths to make it two on the bounce. Winning rider Masaaki Ohata sticks. Best form puts him right in this. YUTO THE ASHIGE (5) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 4 lengths over 1700m at this track. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. YUZUNOKI (2) ran a strong second over 1400m at this track two runs back then was below her best last time over 1700m when sixth, beaten 5 lengths. Has a very good record back at this distance so she shapes as one to consider. MOZU AKABOSU (6) finished seventh over 1700m at this track last time out following a determined win two runs back. Will drift back but wind up late. Can run on into the finish.
