DAICHI RAFALE (6) finished fifth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1500m at this track, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Has his share of ability and is hard to beat in this suitable race. WHISTLE SONG (8) found the line nicely to grab third last time out over 2000m here. Another bold showing is expected. MACARIO (5) missed the frame last time when tenth at this circuit. That followed a run of two wins on end. Has a high cruising speed and is one of the main contenders. MACHIAVELLI (10) finished 6 lengths away in fourth after being prominent at the turn at her last appearance over 1700m at this course on January 13. Should be about the money.
