ANIMAL KIRISHIMA (7) could only manage eighth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1300m at this track, beaten only a neck after being in the firing line on the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ARDE MURATA (6) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. SOAP STONE (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1300m at this track. Better than that. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. D FANKS (3) was beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth in a 1400m contest at this track last time out. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
