RAMESSES (3) did a great job to score by 1.5 lengths over today's course and distance last start in a much improved run. Finds another suitable race and can play a major role again. CLARET (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1300m at this track, beaten 6 lengths into eighth. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. KURENAINO HIME (8) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 1300m at this track, beaten half a length. Nicely placed to take this out. STRAIGHT (7) finished second at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1300m at this track, finishing 6 lengths back in seventh. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
