SPARK (7) was quickly into stride over 1400m at this track last time and went on to score by a head. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. GOLD CREST (3) was out of the money first-up but has since placed two on end and looks close to a win, the latest effort a third over 1600m at this track. Looks tough to stop. ABILE (5) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fourth over 1400m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating a bold performance.
