VIVERONE (6) has the strongest exposed 1400m profile after winning by two and a half lengths at Chukyo as an odds-on favourite, having also worked home well for third on debut at Hanshin. She is lightly raced, proven at the distance and brings the clearest upward line. RAMLA BAY (7) is the main danger, returning from a three-month break after winning a 2yo NEWCOMER at Chukyo by just over a length and showing strength through the line. GAL'S MIND (3) has race fitness and winning form after a stylish Sapporo 1200m maiden success, with her previous 1400m placing helping offset the step back to this journey. SHONAN KA NOA (5) resumes off a respectable sixth in the G3 Hakodate Nisai Stakes and had won a Hakodate maiden the start prior, though she is yet to race at around 1400m.
