A race of few chances. NIHONPIRO CARAT (5) was in the money first up then met with strong support last time but could only manage seventh over 1400m at this track. Not a great deal of depth here and can bounce back. GRANDE SFIDA (7) produced a good run two starts back to finish third but failed to live up to market expectations last time when out of the placings at Fukushima Dirt over 1150m. Finds a nice race and can atone. KANEKOME FAMILY (11) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at Hanshin Dirt over 1200m after being in contention on the corner. Placed to advantage so expect a better run this time. BARQUENTINE (2) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when 11th over 1200m at Fukushima after he gave away a big start. Worth including on exotics.
