SCRUMPTIOUS (5) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 4.5 lengths from the winner in sixth at Kokura over 2000m. Worth following up with that first run out of the way. POUND FOR ONE (15) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 4 lengths into fourth over 2200m at this track. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GOLDEN BOB (8) was safely held last start on debut over 2000m at Kokura. Should appreciate the longer journey now. Could sneak into the finish with some natural improvement likely.
