CARLOTTO (2) resumes from a spell of ten weeks. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 1600m at this track. Has ability and sure to prove tough to beat. T O KAISER (11) turned in a good effort on debut 12 weeks ago when a neck away in second at Tokyo over 1600m. Has not been to the races since that outing. Will be better for that race experience and is definite contender. LIEN MAHINA (12) was beaten a neck into second at this track two starts ago then finished 0.6 lengths from the winner in fourth last time at Hanshin. Has a strong finish and has the hoof firmly on the till. CHUWA MELODY (5) recorded a third consecutive minor placing last time out, finishing one length away in second over 1600m at Chukyo. Hard to leave out of calculations on that form.
