SATONO AGUDO (12) resumes from a spell of three months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 1800m at Hanshin. Should be in for a big campaign and looks the one to beat. IKUOKUKONEN (1) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 3.5 lengths from the winner in fourth at Hanshin over 1800m. Has upside and poses a genuine threat. MEISHO SHOKATSU (4) was beaten just a nose last start and landed his first top-three finish in the process over this track and trip. Makes plenty of appeal on the back of that latest effort. DANTSU URUS (13) showed early speed from an outside draw and held on well for fourth, beaten 1.4 lengths, when returning after a spell last start over 2000m at Niigata. Cannot be underestimated.
