Not a lot separates the top handful. LAY CLASSIC (10) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in second over 2000m at Chukyo. Should improve off that run and this looks a nice race. LA CONCHA BIEN (9) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a nose, over 1800m at Hanshin when returning from a spell. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Sure to be in the finish. ROSE RAFFINE (13) will find this a little easier than her second on debut three weeks ago, beaten 2 lengths at the end of 2000m at Hanshin. Has plenty of upside so she should be in the finish. BIXBITE (18) is back from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Debuted with a third, beaten a long neck, over 2000m at this track at her only appearance to date. Has definite claims.
