Terrific race with a field full of promising types. Interestingly the top four selections are all last start winners this course and distance. DANON BOURBON (8) was well in the market on debut and stamped himself as a horse to follow, when led throughout to win by 10 lengths. Given a spell and can go on to better things this campaign. AMERICAN STYLE (4) raced on speed and was also too good on debut. Has upside and can measure up again. Same goes for ALLEN STAR (5) who bolted in with debut win leading throughout. Well-placed to make it back to back wins. HORNER (9) started double figure odds at debut and gave a start but wound up strongly to arrive in time. Has upside and has to be included. BLUME SUNRISE (6) was a last start winner at Chukyo and expected to run well fresh.
