KHACHAPURI (1) is a 34-start maiden but ran a good race to finish sixth at her latest appearance over 1300m at this track. Things are certainly no tougher this time and it could well be the race that snaps the drought. Stage is set. NOTHING BETTER (4) is also a long term maiden. 10 starts without a win now but sound in eighth, beaten 8 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1300m at this track. Can come on from that run and looks a serious contender. M T PABLO (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 8 lengths when ninth in a 1300m contest at this track two weeks ago. Likely improver with strong prospects. SAGEBRUSH (10) finished 4 lengths away in fourth at his last appearance over 1300m at this track on April 12 after he was well back on straightening. Worth including in this suitable contest.
