TOA SHION (7) returned from a break last start with a less than impressive 14th over 2000m at Hanshin Dirt after settling well back. He'll appreciate coming right back in grade today. Looks primed for a much better performance today. ST KILDA (8) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and found the front, holding the lead for most of the way and sticking on well to finish third over 1400m at this track. Solid run last time and will take catching again. BOMBER (4) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only a head over 1600m at this track after being prominent at the bend. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. COSMO BALLATA (2) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 6 lengths into fifth over 1400m at this track. Fitter so watch for a better performance.
