SAIMON GRIT (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 1.5 lengths when fourth in a 1300m contest at this track five days ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. A'S ODIN (5) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 29 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1300m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. KAMPU (3) has been thereabouts since getting off the mark five runs back, the latest effort a third over 1400m at this track. Should park just off the speed. Solid claims on best form.
