KISLING (7) got the prize two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when second over 1400m at Kanazawa. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done. A SHIN JOLT (2) was safely held last start when ninth at this track and distance after jumping from a wide gate. Likely to go forward from a nice draw and can be in this for a long way. ALSAFI (8) is down in grade after finishing tenth over 1400m at this track three weeks ago. That effort came after he finished second two starts ago at this track. Can bounce back.
